Anthony Dudas joins the Lincoln community as Executive Director of the Lincoln Airport Authority. With nearly two decades in the aviation industry, he built his career around strengthening airport operations, expanding air service, and delivering infrastructure that supports growing, economically vibrant communities.
Most recently, Anthony served as Airport Director at Williston Basin International Airport (XWA), where he led the development, construction, and successful transition to North Dakota’s newest commercial airport. In that role, he oversaw all operational, regulatory, and strategic initiatives, working closely with local, state, and federal partners to expand air service, deliver major capital projects, and grow non-aeronautical revenue opportunities.
Anthony believes strongly in being present and engaged in the community, whether through partnerships with local organizations, participation in community events, or supporting initiatives that strengthen both the aviation industry and the regions we serve.
Anthony looks forward to bringing a collaborative leadership approach and a strategic, forward-looking mindset to Lincoln as we continue enhancing air service, advancing airport and industrial park development, and reinforcing the airport’s role as a key driver of regional economic growth.
In 1910, there was no TV. Radio wouldn’t begin widespread use for another 15 years. William Howard Taft was president. And this Rotary Club, the 14th in the world, was formed. I am humbled and honored to serve as your President for the 2026-2027 Rotary Year. For the last 116 years, Rotary 14 has led our city, providing funding and sweat equity to continue to make this such a wonderful place to live.
As we approach the end of the Rotary year (July 1 - June 30), it’s time to renew your membership with Rotary Club 14. In the next week, you will receive an invoice for your renewal. If you are a Corporate Member, the Partners Program Committee will be reaching out to those organizations shortly. Due to our continued commitment to broadcasting our meeting for your convenience and the use of quality AV at the Cornhusker, we’re continuing the $25 room and technology fee. This also helps us defray the cost of minimum lunches at the Cornhusker.
Invoices this year will reflect the annual rate of $470 + $25 room and technology fee. We strive to keep dues reasonable, while providing a high quality experience for all Rotarians. If you have any budget-related questions, please feel free to reach out to our leadership team.
I am grateful to have served with the incomparable Randy Hawthorne as his year draws to a close. Indeed, the four of us in the Presidential line of succession (Myself and Past President Erin Dobesh, Randy, and President-Elect Designate Sheila Odom) have met many times in the last year to streamline our collective vision for this club.
I couldn’t let an opportunity pass to please consider making an annual donation to one or both of our foundations — the Rotary 14 Foundation and the Rotary International (RI) Foundation — that support our Club’s service work. It is my intent to introduce reimagined community grants from our local foundation this year.

Join us on June 30, 12-1 pm for Rotary on the Road at Bryan Health, a place with deep roots in Rotary 14. Our Club helped found what was once Lincoln General Hospital over a century ago. Come hear the story of how a community came together to build an institution that has served Lincoln for 100 years, and see firsthand what that legacy looks like today. This is not a regular Club meeting. Attendance will count as a makeup credit.

Congratulations to our latest recipient of the Rotary 14 High School Student Leadership Award. Rosalyn Frese from Lincoln Pius X Catholic High School joined Rotary 14 on Tuesday, May 26, to accept this honor.
Every year, Rotary 14 invites a student from each local high school to present information to the club membership regarding the importance of community service at their school. To share the Rotary mission with area high school students and create an interest in the ideals of service. Committee members work with school administrators to identify a student leader to accept the award and work with those students to create a short presentation to be given at a regular club meeting.
These same students are encouraged to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards seminar held by Rotary District 5650 each spring. They are also made aware of the Club’s High School Scholarship criteria and encouraged to apply, if appropriate.
