Jason Guernsey, BD Construction - Kearney
Jason Guernsey is a business development professional with experience across construction, economic development, and public-sector projects. His work focuses on building strong relationships, collaboration, and supporting community-based organizations. He values long-term partnerships and practical, straightforward communication.
Aden Davis, Rembolt Ludtke LLP
Aden Davis was born and raised here in Lincoln and attended UNL for his undergraduate and law degree. He chose Lincoln to start his career because of the people and sense of community unique to this city. Aden hopes to promote and reinvest in the city through his career as an attorney, as a Rotarian, and as an individual.
Kelly Bartling, Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Kelly is executive VP, marketing and strategic communication at the Nebraska Chamber. She joined the chamber this fall after 12 years as vice chancellor at UNK. She has degrees from UNL, in journalism and marketing. She and husband Steve have 4 adult children and two grandsons. Kelly is active in church and other organizations including United Way, Buffalo County Community Partners, Crane River Theater and Kearney Catholic H.S. Foundation. A past-president of Kearney Noon Rotary, Kelly spearheaded 3 stagings of Kearney’s Dancing with the Stars, which netted over $250,000 for local projects.
Dr. John Skretta, Lincoln Public Schools
Dr. Skretta started his educational career at LPS as an English and reading teacher at Northeast High School in 1995. In 2000, he became an instructional coordinator at Northeast High School and then associate principal in 2001. Dr. Skretta left Northeast High School in 2004 to be the principal at Norris High School. In 2008, he was named associate superintendent for Norris Public School for two years before becoming superintendent in 2010. John Skretta, Ed.D., was appointed by the Lincoln Board of Education in September 2025 as the superintendent for Lincoln Public Schools.
