The Dictionary Project is a long-standing Rotary tradition and a collaboration between three Lincoln Rotary clubs to provide a dictionary to every third grade student in the city of Lincoln (both public & private schools). If you're new, this is a gathering of volunteers from 3 Lincoln Rotary clubs to place Rotary labels in the front inside cover of almost 4,000 dictionaries. Then we box them up in the quantities needed for each school. Come hungry, as pizza will be provided! Here are the details for the party: Monday, February 17 at 5:30 p.m. until done Holy Trinity Church, 6001 A Street (east entrance) Sign up for the labeling party here: Between February 18 and March 7, we need volunteers to deliver dictionaries to third grade classrooms. There is not a specific date for delivery, but a timeframe during which volunteers contact the school and set up a date and time. The schools on the signup are the ones that Rotary 14 is assigned. Other schools are assigned to the other Rotary clubs. Sign up to deliver dictionaries here: |
