The meeting is held in the Renaissance Room located on the 2nd floor. Rotary 14 meets in a hybrid format. Join us at The Cornhusker or on Zoom. https://bit.ly/rotary14zoom

We're in our last month of the 2025-2026 Rotary Year. Here are a few to-dos to make sure you're wrapping up the year well:
Make sure your dues are paid! Read 2026-2027 President Mark Feit's letter here. You can pay either online by clicking “Pay Now” on your invoice (online processing fees will be included) or by making a check out to "Lincoln Rotary Club." You can either bring your check to a meeting or mail it to Lincoln Rotary Club, PO Box 83843, Lincoln, NE 68501. The deadline for renewal is June 16, 2026. If you're having trouble locating your invoice or have any questions, please email Lauren (info@rotary14.org).
Make sure all your invoices are paid. You can see any outstanding invoices by going to your ClubRunner profile and clicking “View & Pay Balance” under “Information.” Make sure the item description does not say “Do not pay!” before you make the payment. You can also go to “Invoices” in the ClubRunner app to view unpaid invoices. Again, do not pay any invoices with “Do not pay” in the description. These invoices show credit transfers to lunch cards when we updated to the new system.
Check your attendance credits. Rotary International does not track attendance anymore, but if you're aiming for Perfect Attendance, please make sure it was recorded correctly. You can check attendance in your ClubRunner account by clicking “My Member Activity” on the main page and then scrolling down to “Attendance." “Reported Attendance” will be the number pulled for perfect attendance. You can also view it in the ClubRunner app under “Attendance.” If any corrections need to be made, just email Lauren (info@rotary14.org) with those corrections. Perfect attendance lists will be finalized on June 16. While you're in there, make sure your information and profile picture are up-to-date!
Fill out the 2026-2027 Interest Indicator Form. Committees and volunteering are the best ways to connect as a Rotarian. This is your opportunity to go ahead and get signed up!
Donate to the Rotary 14 Foundation. Make a one-time donation or learn about the 5/25 campaign here. You can also click “Club Donations” in the app.
Donate to Rotary International. If you would like to donate to Rotary International, you can do so on your ClubRunner app by going to the sidebar and selecting “My TRF Recognition," going to this website: https://my.rotary.org/en/donate, or mailing a check alongside this form: Rotary International Contribution Form.
Instructions for a direct transfer from an individual retirement account can be found here: IRA Transfer to the Rotary Foundation. Please make your contributions directly to the Rotary Foundation rather than sending them to the Club.
Join us for the inaugural Rotary Rave on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 7:00–10:00 p.m. at Sideshow Spirits (1630 P St, Lincoln, NE 68508) for a free, intergenerational dance party unlike anything Rotary 14 has attempted before.
The concept is simple: we're taking a musical journey through the history of dance music. We'll start the evening with the sounds of the 1950s and work our way through the decades, ending with the modern electronic dance music (EDM) you'd hear at a contemporary rave.
No dance experience required. No knowledge of rave culture required. Just come ready to have fun.
What to expect:
Music from the 1950s through today
Pizza provided
Fun rave-inspired party favors
A cash bar available through Sideshow Spirits
Plenty of opportunities to dance, laugh, and enjoy the company of fellow Rotarians
What should I wear? Raves are known for creative fashion, so we encourage you to wear something festive and fun. Maybe it's that neon golf shirt you bought for a tournament, a favorite outfit from decades past that still fits, or simply something hanging in your closet that never seems to have the right occasion.
That said, if you forget to RSVP, please come anyway. The event is completely free, there is no cover charge, and we'd love to see you there.
Guests are welcome! Feel free to bring a spouse, partner, friend, family member, or anyone else who might enjoy a fun night out.
We know Rotary Rave is a little unconventional. That's exactly why we're doing it. We wanted to create a fun, welcoming event where members, guests, and friends of all ages can connect, celebrate, and maybe even discover a few dance moves they forgot they had.
We hope you'll join us for a night that's sure to be memorable.
Join us on June 30, 12-1 pm for Rotary on the Road at Bryan Health, a place with deep roots in Rotary 14. Our Club helped found what was once Lincoln General Hospital over a century ago. Come hear the story of how a community came together to build an institution that has served Lincoln for 100 years, and see firsthand what that legacy looks like today. This is not a regular Club meeting. Attendance will count as a makeup credit.
Here is the mailing address for those of you who want to extend your condolences to Rotarian Shari Veil and her family due to the tragic loss of her daughter, Hailey.
If you were at President Randy Hawthorne's inaugural meeting, you heard that he's inviting each member of the club to the President's Table. These have been assigned randomly. Here are the upcoming dates:
