Kat Ousey, Executive Director of Linked2Literacy
Linked2Literacy
As the executive director and co-founder of Linked2Literacy (L2L), Kathleen (Kat) Ousey is a visionary leader with a strong commitment to promoting literacy and empowering families to cultivate a love of reading in children. In just two short years, L2L has made an impact within the community with core initiatives including partnerships, EmpowerMe, WORDSTOCK, and Book Bridge. Linked2Literacy serves as a critical link to increase home book ownership and provide caregivers with the tools and strategies needed to confidently incorporate reading into their daily routines.

In addition to her role at L2L, Kat also serves as the Vice President of Education on the Friends of Lied Board of Directors and as the Co-President Advisor of the Rousseau PTO. She is currently participating in the Leadership Lincoln cohort, further enhancing her skills and knowledge in leadership and community engagement.
Don't miss the opportunity to hear Kat speak on Tuesday and be inspired by her dedication to promoting literacy and empowering families to foster generational change by creating a culture of reading in their homes.
