Attorney Bob Bartle
Real Men Read Poetry

Robert Bartle is a Lincoln lawyer, beginning his practice as an Assistant Attorney General between 1976-1981, and working as a trial attorney in his private practice for the past forty-two years. Between 1982-2009 Bob taught courses at the Nebraska law school as an adjunct professor in legal writing and trial advocacy.

Apart from his practice, Bob served as the president of the Nebraska State Bar Association from 2010-2011. He serves on the Nebraska Wesleyan Board of Governors, as well as a second year member of Rotary 14 and administrative assistant to the District Governor. Bob is an occasional poet, having studied under the late William Kloefkorn, Nebraska's first state poet. He prefers reading the poetry of other more accomplished poets, such as Ted Koozer. Barbara and Bob have raised three children and are proud grandparents of six.
