Downtown Rotary #14 Announces New Officers

Downtown Lincoln’s Rotary Club No. 14 announced its new slate of officers for the 2013-14 term. The Lincoln organization is one of the largest and oldest Rotary Clubs in the world, and its leadership team oversees several local and international service projects.

Officers for 2013-14 are: Liz Koop, president; Melanie Whittamore-Mantzios, vice president/president-elect; Michele Tilley, secretary; Kris Rutford, treasurer; Greg Dynek, sergeant-at-arms; and Mike Wortman, past president.

The remaining members of the board of directors are Jennifer Brinkman, Pam Dingman, David Handley, Mike Klockenga, Al Meder, Mark Stephens, Suzanne Sughroue and Katie Thompson.

Lincoln Rotary is the Star City’s oldest service organization, dating back to 1916. Today, the club comprises more than 330 business and community leaders who work on a variety of community projects.
