Description: Unless you’ve been in a coma or in the wilds of Africa, you no doubt know that the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is now in the Big Ten Conference. This has enormous implications — both in athletics and academics. This opportunity was open to UNL because of the historic strength of its athletic programs and the strong upward trend of its academic programs.
Harvey Perlman is a Nebraska native who was named Chancellor of UNL in April of 2001. During his administration, the university has experienced a time of historic growth – as a major research university, in student enrollment and success, and of course joined a new conference.
Join us on Tuesday, when UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman will be with us for a presentation entitled: “UNL: A Big Ten University Update”.
